I am Duc Tai Dinh, a Backend Engineer and AI Researcher based in Ho Chi Minh City. My work focuses on bridging algorithmic research with scalable production systems.
On the engineering side, I build robust RESTful APIs, event-driven data pipelines, and containerized microservices for distributed AI services. My stack includes Go, Python, FastAPI, Docker, Kafka, PostgreSQL, Cassandra, and multi-cloud deployment workflows across GCP, AWS, and Azure.
On the research side, I work on multimodal retrieval, vision-language systems, OCR, ASR, object detection, and RAG. Recent work includes KPTER for temporal event retrieval, ZSE-Cap for zero-shot image retrieval and prompt-guided captioning, Vietnamese Legal GraphRAG, TradingClaw, and Sino-Nom/Chinese OCR.
I am currently studying Artificial Intelligence at the University of Science, VNU-HCM, where I keep building toward the same goal: AI systems that are strong enough for research and reliable enough for production.
